: Take MSM supplements, 1000mg a day. Comes in capsules or loose powder you mix in water or juice. Could be male-pattern baldness (MPB), in which case topical minoxidil (Get the 5% solution/foam) or oral finasteride, or both, can help. They block DHT, which can cause MPB. The sooner you start minoxidil, the better chance you have of regrowing hair you lost. It takes about 6 months to see noticeable changes, that thin area will fill in with new hair. Fine, baby, hairs come in first, strands thicken as they come in.

: The area in your head is the kind of thinning that responds best to the use of minoxidil. You have diffuse loss, rather than a bald spot, so the odds of you recovering a lot of what you lost is great. Minoxidil & finasteride reverse the process that leads to loss. Minoxidil is OTC, you need a prescription for finasteride, and insurance won't usually cover it for hair loss, but it is available as a generic. The MSM will strengthen the new growth.

: I'm among the 50% of females with MPB, 5% Minoxidil foam once-a-day has worked well for me.

Interesting! You know your stuff. I take a lot of supplements. When I was a kid, I was hit by a van and among other things cracked the cartilage in my right knee and needed surgery to remove half the cartilage. Hopefully my body regrew the cartilage removed as I don't have much knee pain 30 years later but I do take a cartilage supplement that has MSM and glucosamine. I'm not sure how much MSM is in that, so I'll check. Never heard of the other things, but will look into those as well.

Thanks!

Marty
