: Hi Philip,
: Just finished watching your video and have to admit the process is a bit time consuming.I'm guessing it also depends on the length of your hair as if it were shorter the time would be less.I know all too much about doing hair processes since I henna my own hair every six to eight weeks. That too takes a bit of time and patience but I have the routine down well so its fairly efficient :)How often do you wash your hair in this manner? I would like to try it someday but sounds like the soap has to be acquired online.Funny being the name of the soap made me think of Syria! Oh well that's another story.Anyway thank you for taking the time to post this as we all like to learn new hair care processes my friend.Cheers

Hi Mrk,
thank you for your message! I think washing the hair is ok and also fun, but what can be annoying is the time it takes to dry. But that's ok too, if I schedule my day accordingly. I do this roughly every 5 days.
It's true, most normal drug stores don't have this kind of soap, you can more likely find it in a bigger organic shop. I've tried some smaller organic shops but I wasn't lucky there. I've also tried olive oil soap which worked fine too, but the Aleppo soap is my favourite.
You are right, the soap is named after the city in which they originally produced it. It is the city in Syria that's been on the news (for way too long).
Cheers,
Philip
