In this case, it sounds like "quality over quantity" was the way to go. Are there certain protective measures you are thinking of trying, as you let it grow longer again? Oil treatments will probably help, but do you have anything else in mind (physically restraining it/ tying it back when outdoors or active, leave-in conditioners, etc.)?
